Newlook textured pinny

Dress - Newlook | Top - Topshop (similar) | Trainers - New Balance (similar/similar)

I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to the clothes I've been buying and wearing these days. I'm so used to being comfy in casual clothes that wearing anything else is usually effort. The only downside to this is you can't wear these clothes everywhere. I can't even tell you the amount of times I've walked in to a shop, picked up about six things, walked around for an hour and slowly put them down one-by-one. Other times, I've bought things and ended up returning them. It's like I didn't want anything in the first place and yet I was trying to find something to buy, so I've been attempting to change my bad habits.

As much as I will attempt to change the way I dress I just can’t help but wear trainers so I opted for my New Balance as I was going for a long walk and the grey went with my top. Although I've been cutting back on my spending for the past couple of months, which is not an easy task I can tell you, I still can't help but look out for emails from stores that show all the new things, and it's a good thing too otherwise I would have missed this pini!

The NYC diaries [part two - Central Park & Times Square]

If you haven't caught the first part of the NYC diaries, check it out! Right, back to it then.

After spending a couple of days adjusting to heat, realising we're never going to get a lay in because housekeeping comes knocking before 10am not making plans until the morning, we sort of found a routine.

Christmas in July part four - V&A Museum, Swatch and TK Maxx & HomeSense

The V&A Museum
Personally I hadn't real anticipated ever having the V&A in my Christmas in July round up, but then why not? Not only does the Victoria and Albert Museum have the most amazing exhibitions, my personal favourites are the fashion ones, but they also have an amazing shop to get souvenirs and gifts!

The event was an early morning one in the Raphael Gallery and started before the museum was open - I felt super sophisticated walking in with my huaraches didn't I?!
